Practice Assistant – St. Louis/Edwardsville

The essential functions of this position include:
- Creating, formatting, and proofreading various legal documents and correspondence
- Filing documents in state and federal courts
- Opening new matters and running conflict checks
- Processing invoices and attorney expenses
- Downloading and saving documents to appropriate files
This is an entry-level position; we will provide training. The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills, strong attention to detail, a high level of initiative and follow-through, and the ability to work successfully in a variety of software programs. This position is hybrid: 1 day in office, 4 days remote. Work schedule would be 9:00 am - 5:00 pm with a 30-min lunch break.
