Ann I. Park Receives Los Angeles County Bar Association’s 2024 Philip H. Lam Diversity Impact Award

January 8, 2024News, Recognition

Ann I. Park, a Partner in Foley Mansfield’s Los Angeles office, has been named as the recipient of the Los Angeles County Bar Association’s (LACBA) 2024 Philip H. Lam Diversity Impact Award.

The award, established in 2019 by the LACBA Board of Trustees, is named in honor of the organization’s first Vice President of Diversity, Inclusion, and Outreach, and represents LACBA’s long-term commitment to promoting diversity and inclusion within the organization and the legal community at large. Ann’s selection as this year’s recipient is reflective of her “steadfast dedication, transformative leadership, and exceptional mentorship, showcasing inclusivity’s core values and driving transformative change within the legal field,” according to LACBA.

Ann, who acted as LACBA’s 2022-2023 President, has been involved in the leadership of LACBA’s Diversity in the Profession Committee and Section for over two decades. She was instrumental in the formation of LACBA’s High School Mentoring Program, aimed at bringing lawyers and judges to local high schools to mentor diverse students interested in the law, and played a pivotal role in the success of LACBA’s Diversity and Inclusion Conferences in 2021 and 2023.

As a Partner in Foley Mansfield’s Los Angeles office, Ann concentrates her practice in defending complex, high-risk toxic tort, asbestos products liability, and premises liability actions. She has extensive experience handling toxic tort defense, commercial business disputes, insurance coverage and environmental law matters for her clients. Learn more about Ann and her practice here.
