Matthew Wise is a litigator in Foley & Mansfield’s Detroit office, where he focuses his practice in the defense of labor and employment disputes and premises liability matters. Knowledgeable in all phases of complex litigation, Matt also has experience in the areas of toxic/mass tort and product liability litigation as well as dram shop and automobile/no-fault defense.
Prior to practice, he served as a Judicial Intern for the Honorable Chief Judge Gerald E. Rosen of the U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Michigan.

- Birch Run Area Convention and Visitors’ Bureau v. Saginaw County Convention and Visitors’ Bureau and Saginaw County (obtained voluntary dismissal of dispute between convention and visitors’ bureaus over County tax dollar allocation).
- Jones v. James-Martin Chevrolet (obtained favorable settlement in an employment discrimination case).
