Meredith S. Hudgens, a partner in Foley & Mansfield’s Chicago office, focuses her practice in product liability, insurance defense, toxic tort, mass litigation and environmental law, and has supervised, strategized and coordinated the defense for both local and national clients. In addition, she has been retained as discovery, national, regional and local counsel for manufacturers throughout the United States.
Meredith has defended matters from case inception through trial in both state and federal jurisdictions including Illinois, Missouri, Wisconsin, the District of Columbia, Hawaii, Iowa, Maryland, New York, South Carolina, South Dakota, Tennessee, Wisconsin and Virginia. Locally, she has supervised and defended numerous clients with cases in Illinois counties including Cook, Madison, McLean and St. Clair. She is adept and efficient at developing, presenting and defending corporate and expert witnesses.
Meredith also handles transactional matters for both established corporations and start-ups, encompassing all aspects of incorporation, business sales and contracts, including service, employment, non-compete contracts and non-disclosure agreements.
