Khaled Taqi-Eddin, a partner in the Walnut Creek office of Foley & Mansfield, focuses his practice primarily in the areas of toxic / mass tort litigation and employment law. He also has significant experience in the defense of product liability, personal injury, toxic tort, real property, dental and medical malpractice cases.
Khaled’s litigation experience includes insurance defense litigation, including representing individuals and insured entities involved in motor vehicle personal injury actions, premise liability litigation and all aspects of the defense of a large national health care provider. Khaled also represented individuals and insured entities in construction defect matters that involved various custom homes and residential developments in the San Francisco Bay Area.
Khaled is skilled in preparing cases for trial including, but not limited to, taking lead on plaintiff and percipient witness depositions, preparing experts for deposition and trial, preparation and argument of motions for summary judgment and other complex pre-trial motions. He has served as an active second chair on a number of trials having prepared and argued motions in limine, participated in voir dire, and conducted both direct and cross examinations.
Currently an independent author for Matthew Bender/Lexis Nexis, Khaled revises, updates and authors new chapters and content for publications such as Toxic Torts, Personal Injury Actions Defenses Damages, Sourcebook on Asbestos Defense, and Art of Advocacy and Business Torts. Khaled has debated Sean Walsh, former Press Secretary to California Governor Wilson, on local television and national radio, and testified at California House and Senate sub-committee hearings.
While in school he interned at the Center on Juvenile & Criminal Justice, San Francisco District Attorneys Office and in the Northern California Innocence Project.

Oakland attorneys Douglas G. Wah, Khaled Taqi-Eddin, and Arturo E. Sandoval mounted a successful defense in a recent month-long jury trial in Los Angeles Superior Court.
