BIOGRAPHY
John G. Beseau, Of Counsel in the St. Louis office of Foley & Mansfield, focuses his practice on construction and commercial litigation.
In the construction arena, John represents general contractors, subcontractors, and project owners in matters concerning breach of contract, construction defects, payment disputes, and mechanic’s liens. In addition to defending construction matters in Missouri and Illinois, John serves as chief counsel for a general contractor, handling disputes nationwide, both in court and arbitration.
John’s commercial practice includes representation of businesses in contractual disputes, loan transactions, UCC claims, and unfair business practices. He also counsels business owners in shareholder disputes and fiduciary litigation.
John has tried multiple matters to verdict as first-chair and has briefed and argued several matters before the Missouri Court of Appeals.
