Claire C. Kossmann is a partner in Foley & Mansfield's Chicago office, where she focuses her practice in toxic and mass torts with an emphasis on asbestos litigation, and general commercial litigation. Her clients include manufacturers, distributors and other business entities, which she represents directly or through appointment as defense counsel by their insurance carriers.
Claire currently serves as an adjunct professor of legal writing at DePaul University College of Law. She is also a member of the Institutional Review Board for Northwestern University, where she reviews proposed human research projects for compliance with legal and ethical guidelines. She is proficient in German.
