Abigail Buckels is an attorney in the Chicago office of Foley & Mansfield, where she focuses her practice in Toxic and Mass Tort litigation, specifically, asbestos defense. Her clients include manufacturers, suppliers and distributors.

Abigail handles all aspects of the litigation process, including researching legal issues, drafting pleadings and motions, and conducting depositions.

Prior to joining the firm, Abigail served as a Staff Attorney for the 18th Judicial Circuit Court in Wheaton, IL. She also served as a 711 Licensed Law Clerk for both the Kendall County and Cook County State’s Attorney’s Offices, where she gained valuable trial experience in both bench and jury trials. 

While in law school, Abigail served as the Managing Editor of the Northern Illinois University Law Review. She participated in multiple mock trial competitions,  earning Best Advocate from the NIU, SIU Saluki Invitational Mock Trial Competition and was also the recipient of the Justin Pettway Scholarship Award for Trial Advocacy and Ethics.
