Mike focuses his practice in toxic tort and mass litigation, construction law, and employment law. Mike holds the Martindale-Hubbell AV rating of 174; for the highest level of legal ability and adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability and diligence.*

Throughout his practice, Mike has engaged in the litigation of complex cases including past experience serving as the court-appointed Liaison Counsel in the national Chrysler Odometer Fraud litigation. A native of St. Louis, Mike has worked for both large and midsized St. Louis law firms as well as in-house counsel for Monsanto Company, an agricultural products and research corporation.

Mike also practices commercial law with a focus in finance and transactions and is a mediator for the United States District Court of the Eastern District of Missouri and the Circuit Court of the City of St. Louis.

Mike has served the St. Louis community through volunteer work including the United Way of Greater St. Louis where he currently serves as a member of the Community Investment Committee and as a co-chair of the Child Welfare Panel. Mike is also actively involved with the American Red Cross where he currently serves as Chairman of the Board of the advisory Board to the Missouri-Illinois Blood Region and is a member of the Charles Drew Sickle Cell Anemia sub-committee. Mike has formerly served the American Red Cross as Chairman of the national Resolutions Committee and as Board Chair of the St. Louis Area Chapter.
