Julie Piper-Kitchin is an attorney with Foley & Mansfield in the St. Louis office. She focuses her area of practice in Toxic Tort and Mass Tort Litigation and Construction Law.
She has worked in various litigation matters including products liability, construction defect, pharmaceutical, ERISA, state and federal wage and hour, and FELA (Federal Employers Liability Act).
Julie received her Juris Doctorate in 2008 from Marquette University Law School. While there she was Associate Editor of the Marquette Intellectual Property Law Review. Her publication, Comment, I Have a Secret?: Applying the Uniform Trade Secrets Act to Confidential Information That Does Not Rise to the Level of Trade Secret Status, appeared in the Law Review in 2008 (12 MARQ. INTELL. PROP. L. REV. 359). She was also on the Dean’s List, the Pro Bono Honor Society and received a CALI award.
As the recipient of the Public Interest Law Society Summer Fellowship, Julie interned for the Cook County Office of the Public Guardian. Julie was also a Legal Intern for the Honorable Lynn Adelman, U.S. District Court, Eastern District of Wisconsin.
Julie is a member of the Missouri Bar Association, the Illinois State Bar Association, the Wisconsin Bar Association and the Bar Association of Metropolitan St. Louis. She is also a member of the Notre Dame Club of St. Louis.
