Gino focuses his practice in probate litigation, employment law, and complex commercial litigation. He has extensive trial as well as appellate experience and has successfully represented many commercial clients in both the state and federal courts. He also practices in the areas of bankruptcy, municipal law, insurance coverage, ERISA, tax, pension fund, general liability, product liability, toxic tort and catastrophic loss claims resulting from fire and explosions.

As a criminal justice panel attorney, Gino has continued to represent individuals under a sentence of death in federal habeas corpus proceedings in Missouri since 1986.

Gino is also a certified mediator under the Rules of the Missouri Supreme Court.

Gino represents Antonio Richardson before the Missouri Board of Probation and Parole. Battisti successfully fought to overturn Richardson's death sentence following his conviction of first degree murder in 1991.
