Carla is an attorney in Foley & Mansfield’s St. Louis office. She focuses her practice on personal injury, products liability and premises liability, with an emphasis on the defense of toxic tort cases. She has represented clients including individuals, equipment and product manufacturers, premises owners and contractors. Carla has first-chair jury trial experience in civil litigation matters in both circuit and federal courts, and practices in both Illinois and Missouri.
Carla also represents plaintiffs in personal injury and automobile negligence actions. She recently won a verdict of $950,000.00 in the United States District Court, Western District of Missouri, for her client, an injured motorcycle passenger.
Prior to joining Foley & Mansfield, Carla represented and counseled self-insured corporations and insurance companies in the defense of Illinois and Missouri Workers’ Compensation claims.
Carla is a 2003 graduate of Saint University School of Law, where she received a Dean’s Scholarship. She also served as Vice President for the university’s Women Law Students’ Association. Her law education includes study abroad at Widener University/University of Venice in Venice, Italy. Also while in law school, Carla interned at the university’s Civil Advocacy Clinic, where she represented indigent clients in matters ranging from paternity issues to ordinance violations, and served as guardian ad litem for abused and neglected children.
