Maíra Gavioli is an attorney in Foley & Mansfield’s Minneapolis office, focusing her practice in the area of Toxic Tort and Mass Litigation.
Prior to joining Foley & Mansfield, Maíra practiced law in Brazil for over three years, providing transactional advice for Brazilian and foreign corporations. She specialized in contracts, corporate law and foreign investment.
Maíra received her L.L.M. and her J.D. from Hamline University School of Law. While in law school, she was on the Dean’s Honor Roll in the Fall of 2008 and 2009, won a CALI Award of Excellence for the National Security Law Seminar, was a member of the John R. Brown Admiralty Moot Court team and was awarded a Dean’s Merit Scholarship. She was also a Board Member of the Hamline International Law Student Association and a member of Hamline’s Latino Law Student Association.
Ms. Gavioli co-authored an article “Competition Policies in International Trade” which was published in Portuguese in Direito Concorrencial & Regulacao Economica.
She is a member of the Minnesota State Bar Association, Hispanic National Bar Association and the Brazilian Bar Association – Parana State Division. (OAB/PR)
