Zach focuses his practice almost exclusively on litigation in the areas of environmental defense, labor and employment, social security and mass tort. He joined the firm in 2007 with extensive experience in insurance defense, pollution cases—particularly mold and gasoline—as well as construction defect, personal injury, and first/third party automobile cases.

Representative Experience

Representation of retail petroleum equipment contractors in defense of negligent installation claims.
Representation of mentally handicapped adults seeking Social Security Disability benefits.
Representation of retail gas station owners in defense of claims arising from fuel releases.
Representation of residential contractors in mold and construction defect claims.

During law school, Zach worked as an intern at the Detroit Office of the National Labor Relations Board and clerked at a firm specializing in public and private sector labor law. He was also a member of the Wayne State Moot Court team and in 2003 served as president of the Wayne State chapter of the Federalist Society. He also spent a summer working at the Wayne State Free Legal Aid Clinic.

Zach spends his free time with his family.
