Howard focuses his practice in the areas of commercial law and litigation, with extensive experience in the litigation aspects of commercial and real estate disputes, construction defects, and various business transactions. Howard has successfully handled numerous commercial litigation matters for clients involving partnership dissolution, business and employment disputes, professional liability and other general civil litigation. He also has extensive experience in family law, especially in the area of highly-sensitive child custody situations.

Community Service

A leader in the Detroit Jewish community, Howard has been a Board member of numerous local Jewish organizations. He received the Jewish Welfare Federation’s Agency Leadership Award in 1988. In 1997, he was elected as one of the youngest presidents in the history of the Jewish Community Council. He is also past Chair of the Michigan Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League and a member of the Farmington, Michigan Board of Education.
