Nathan is an attorney in Foley & Mansfield’s Chicago office, practicing in the Toxic Tort and Mass Tort Litigation group. Prior to completing law school, Nathan worked for Environmental Data Resources, Inc., as an Account Executive and Midwest Regional Manager. He also interned at the Illinois Attorney General’s Office in their environmental enforcement division and with the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, Region 5, before joining a law firm where he gained litigation experience representing clients in the areas of products and premises liability, as well as environmental transaction and pollution matters.
Nathan received his J.D. in 2007 from The John Marshall School of Law, where he wrote for The John Marshall Law Review. He graduated from Allegheny College in 1997, earning his B.S. in Environmental Studies.
Nathan is a Board of Directors member, and former President, of the Illinois Association of Environmental Professionals. He is also an adjunct professor at DePaul University, teaching Environmental Law with an emphasis on major federal environment statutes.
