Jacob is an attorney in Foley & Mansfield's Chicago Office. He focuses his practice in the areas of products liability, mass toxic tort litigation, construction, and premises liability litigation. He represents manufacturers, suppliers, distributors, premises owners, and contractors, defending claims alleging asbestos, benzene, and welding rod exposure. He also works on matters involving construction defects, probate litigation, and estate planning.
Jacob has also volunteered for several legal aid organizations and served on the board of a number of charitable organizations. He has also counseled charitable organizations in several legal areas, including corporate governance and regulatory compliance. He has also served as an attorney judge for several moot court and trial skills competitions held at Washington University.
Jacob received his J.D. from Washington University in St. Louis in 2003. While in law school, he served on the editorial board of the Global Studies Law Review. He also was a member of the Dean’s List and a member of the Interdisciplinary Environmental Law Clinic, during which time he worked on a project dedicated to Brownfield Remediation.
Jacob is a member of the Illinois and Missouri bars, the Defense Research Institute, and the Chicago Bar Association.
