Christine is an attorney in Foley & Mansfield’s Miami Office. She has been a member of the Florida Bar for 19 years. She focuses her practice on the defense of Medical Malpractice Claims, including catastrophic injury and wrongful death claims. Prior to obtaining her law degree, Christine was a registered nurse specializing in operating room nursing. Her extensive medical background and knowledge of the health care system and dynamics, in combination with her significant legal experience, allows her to provide insightful and comprehensive legal services to her clients, who have included physicians, physicians practice groups, hospitals and nursing homes. In collaboration with her clients, Christine has developed risk reduction strategies through nursing and physician education, specifically addressing appropriate and adequate documentation and interpersonal communications. Christine has also lectured at medical seminars on reducing risk through adequate documentation.
 
Christine has extensive trial and litigation experience, managing complex medical malpractice cases from presuit through trial, including the development of defense strategy through expert and fact witness discovery and depositions. She also has significant experience in facilitating resolution of cases through the mediation process and has represented both nurses and physicians in administrative hearings. She utilizes her legal and medical experience, as well as her attention to detail, to help her clients consistently achieve favorable verdicts and dispositions.

Christine is active in the community through her service with various animal rescue organizations in Broward and Miami-Dade Counties as well as the Broward County Watch Organization, which brings international community members together in an atmosphere of political debate and dialogue.
