Beranton focuses his legal practice in the areas of general civil litigation, products liability, toxic tort and mass litigation, and medical malpractice defense. Before joining Foley & Mansfield, Beranton served as an Assistant State Attorney in Jacksonville, Florida when he was assigned to prosecute violent felony and drug offenses. Beranton also was a Florida Supreme Court Certified County Court Mediator where he has experience facilitating the collaborative settlement of civil court disputes. Beranton has significant trial and litigation experience in federal, multidistrict litigation, and Florida State courts. Beranton uses his legal experience to help his clients achieve favorable verdicts and dispositions. He has represented airports, gasoline companies, paint manufacturers, brake and clutch manufactures, air conditioning companies, health care providers, chief executive officers, and physicians in a variety of legal matters.  Beranton has achieved the highest possible Martindale-Hubbell rating for the highest level of legal ability and adherence to professional standards of conduct, ethics, reliability and diligence.
