Melissa focuses her practice in the area of toxic tort and mass tort litigation. Prior to joining Foley & Mansfield, she was a law clerk at a San Jose law firm, where she assisted with trial preparation including drafting motions in limine, writing comprehensive trial briefs, and compiling trial binders. She also drafted legal memoranda involving business litigation, labor disputes, and family law. Melissa has also worked as a legal researcher on active probate cases.

While in law school, Melissa served as an intern for the Superior Court of California where she traveled throughout Santa Clara County with the mobile court, assisting the public by answering questions regarding small claims court matters. As an undergraduate, she served on the Peer Judicial Board and as Financial Vice President for the Associated Students of Santa Clara University.

She speaks conversational French and in her spare time enjoys traveling, running and hiking.
