Cynthia Chan is an attorney in Foley & Mansfield’s Oakland office, focusing her practice in the area of Toxic Tort and Mass Tort Litigation.

Cynthia attended Syracuse University College of Law and received her J.D. in 2005. While in law school, Cynthia interned at the United States Attorney’s Office for the Northern District of New York and the Santa Clara County District Attorney’s Office. In 2003, she served as a summer law clerk to the Honorable Justice E. Hollenhorst at the California Court of Appeal, Fourth Appellate District, Division Two. Cynthia was a member of the Moot Court Honor Society and competed and placed in numerous moot court and trial competitions. She was also a recipient of the Order of the Barristers award.

In 2002, Cynthia earned her B.A. in Political Science and a certificate in Management Studies from the University of Rochester in New York.
