Keith concentrates his practice entirely on litigation with an emphasis on product liability, toxic tort, mass tort, premises liability and business litigation. As national coordinating counsel and local counsel, he defends manufacturers, distributors, suppliers, and premises owners in high-risk asbestos and toxic tort matters. Keith also defends business owners in matters involving allegations of environmental contamination, bad faith, and general business liability.
Many of the clients Keith serves are being sued for the first time in cases that come with high risk and high exposure. Such cases likely set a precedent in further litigation and Keith focuses on developing a unified, cohesive litigation plan at the outset of the case. He is well-versed in all aspects of litigation including client counseling and management, discovery, motion practice, and trial.
Keith works toward both seeking early dismissal while simultaneously preparing for trial—something at which he is very adept. On behalf of the firm’s clients, Keith has a successful record in securing dismissals and favorable results at time of trial.
Keith is frequently invited to speak at seminars on issues unique to toxic tort litigation. Most recently, he presented on the topic of trial preparation and motions in limine in asbestos matters at a seminar for associates and paralegals in Los Angeles, California.
