We are seeking a professional experienced litigation paralegal to join our San Francisco office, located in downtown Oakland. Duties include but are not limited to the following: legal and fact research; assist attorneys in investigations and responding to discovery requests; and manage caseload, including complex case management and pre-trial preparation; drafting correspondence, document acquisition, organization, review and analysis; excellent communication with clients, other counsel, witnesses, court personnel, government agencies and vendors.

Qualified candidates will possess the following:

• Bachelors degree preferred

• 2-3 years experience as a asbestos litigation paralegal

• Paralegal certificate or equivalent degree

• Experience with litigation support and calendaring software for managing documents, caseload, deadline and events

• Experience handling complex litigation in state or federal courts

• Outstanding attention to detail and follow through

• Ability to work as part of a team

• Proficient in Microsoft Suite Applications

• Ability to lift 25 lbs.
