Foley & Mansfield is pleased to announce that Christopher L. Goodman, Heather H. Neubauer, David E. Scouton, and Amy M. Christopher L. Goodman, a partner, has been on the Rising Stars list for five consecutive years. He has a broad civil litigation practice with special emphasis in product liability, catastrophic loss, and insurance litigation. His representation has included property damage and subrogation claims involving environmental and catastrophic loss caused by fires, explosions, and toxic releases. Goodman has prepared hundreds of cases for trial and has successfully defended multi-million dollar claims. He is a member of the American and Minnesota State Bar Associations, the Defense Research Institute and the International Association of Arson Investigators. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 1998.

This is Heather H. Neubauer’s third consecutive year on the Rising Stars list. She focuses her litigation practice on products liability, mass toxic torts, and personal injury, with an emphasis on high-risk asbestos and benzene cases in Minnesota and North Dakota. Neubauer has represented contractors, manufacturers, distributors, and suppliers in various product liability cases and acts as national counsel for a large roofing and siding company. She also works on matters involving construction defects, employment law, general civil litigation and appeals. Neubauer is a qualified civil neutral mediator and arbitrator under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. She is a member of the Hennepin County Bar Association and Defense Research Institute. She graduated from William Mitchell College of Law in 2002.

David E. Scouton has been on the Rising Stars list for four consecutive years. He focuses his practice in the areas of products liability, construction defect, and toxic tort litigation with a special emphasis on asbestos cases. He has experience representing numerous manufacturers, contractors, and distributors in several states in a variety of product liability cases involving asbestos, construction, and building materials. Scouton is a qualified civil neutral mediator and arbitrator under Rule 114 of the Minnesota General Rules of Practice. He is a member of the Minnesota State and Hennepin County Bar Associations, and the Defense Research Institute. He graduated from the University of Minnesota Law School in 2000.
