John Holmquist Appointed to Board of Nonprofit Organization
The Bottomless Toy Chest

     John Holmquist, an attorney in Foley & Mansfield’s Detroit office, has been appointed as a board member of The Bottomless Toy Chest, a nonprofit organization dedicated to providing toys for hospitalized pediatric cancer patients.  “I’ve always had a strong interest in helping children with pediatric cancer”, says Holmquist, who also spent eight years as president of Caps for Kids, a nonprofit organization that distributes caps autographed by celebrities to pediatric chemotherapy patients who lose their hair during treatment. “My involvement with The Bottomless Toy Chest will allow me to bring some joy into a child’s life during this difficult time.”  Holmquist was featured in the Oakland Press on June 24 and on the front page of Detroit Legal News on June 19.
