Jamie L. Habeck Selected as Up & Coming Attorney

Foley & Mansfield is pleased to announce that Jamie L. Habeck has been selected an Up & Coming Attorney by Minnesota Lawyer. Habeck is one of 25 attorneys to be recognized for doing notable work-professionally and within the community-within her first 10 years of practice. A banquet will be held on May 7, 2009, to honor all Up & Coming honorees.

Habeck focuses her practice in the area of litigation with a focus on complex litigation, including toxic torts, product liability, commercial litigation and class actions. She oversees the nationwide litigation for a large manufacturing company, working on a team that serves as the manufacturer's national coordinating counsel. Her role includes developing the client's overall litigation and settlement strategy, assisting in the coordination of discovery nationwide, and coordinating with and overseeing the various local counsel who represent the client throughout the United States. She also handles various commercial litigation matters for individuals and businesses. Jamie is also a very active volunteer in the community. She volunteers her time at People Serving People, has coached and judged mock trial at the high school and college level, and organizes and participates in various charity events throughout the year.
