Miami Attorney Named to 2006 Florida Legal Elite™ List
MIAMI (July 24, 2006) — National litigation firm Foley & Mansfield’s Miami
office announced today managing partner
Virginia Easley Johnson was recognized as a Florida top attorney and
selected for Florida Trend’s Florida Legal Elite™ issue.
The Florida Legal Elite™ is a special report that is part of the July issue of
Florida Trend. It is compiled from votes by Florida Bar members. The prestigious
group selected represents the top 1.8 percent of Florida Bar members and
includes 1,031 lawyers in 28 primary practice areas. These attorneys are
considered held in the highest regard by their peers who have personally worked
with them and would recommend them to others. Lawyers on the list are based in
58 Florida cities and represent 419 different law firms and have been practicing
an average of 25 years.
This is the second time recently Johnson has been recognized by her peers. She
was named a 2006 Super Lawyer by Law & Politics in June. The Super Lawyer
distinction is awarded to attorneys who have a high degree of peer recognition
and professional achievement.
Johnson works in Foley & Mansfield’s Product Liability, Toxic Tort and Mass
Litigation, and Environmental and Pollution Law practice groups. She has
extensive experience in litigating product liability and general insureds,
asbestos manufacturers, and health care providers in hundreds of multimillion
dollar lawsuits.
