Two Attorneys Join National Litigation

2006—The national litigation firm of Foley & Mansfield has hired three new
attorneys. Shawn Dobbins, Kelly Shannon and Stephen Jenkins have joined
the firm. Dobbins and Shannon are located in the Minneapolis office;
Jenkins is located in the firm’s San Francisco office.
Dobbins currently practices in the Commercial Practice and Litigation Group.
He brings three years of experience working for a manufacturer of emissions
monitoring and combustion safety systems. He also served as an intern to a
member of the German Federal Parliament, after which he worked for five years in
a Minnesota corporate law department. Dobbins holds a Bachelors degree from St.
Olaf College in English and German, and speaks fluent German. He graduated with
his Juris Doctorate from William Mitchell College of Law in 2005, where he was
honored as a member of the Dean’s List and recipient of a CALI Excellence for
the Future award. Dobbins is admitted to practice in Minnesota.
Jenkins focuses his practice primarily in the Toxic Tort and Mass Tort
Litigation practice group. Prior to joining Foley & Mansfield, he worked as a
litigation associate in the areas of family law and general civil litigation
matters. He graduated cum laude from Vanderbilt University with a degree
in Political Science. Jenkins earned his Juris Doctorate from Santa Clara Law
School in 2004. He was also a member of Phi Delta Phi, a legal fraternity that
promotes the highest standards of ethics and professionalism in law schools and
the legal community. Jenkins is admitted to practice in California and is a
member of the Contra Costa County Bar Association.
