Hires Attorney Howard Wallach for Detroit Office
DETROIT (June 5, 2006)—The national litigation firm of Foley & Mansfield has
hired
Howard Wallach as a new attorney for the firm’s Detroit office.
Wallach brings extensive litigation experience in the areas of commercial and
real estate disputes to the firm’s Commercial Practice and Litigation group.
Wallach has successfully handled numerous litigation matters for commercial
clients involving partnership breakups, business and employment disputes,
professional liability, and other general civil litigation. He also has
extensive experience in family law, especially in the area of highly-sensitive
child custody situations.
Wallach graduated with honors from Michigan State in 1975 with a Bachelors
degree in Criminal Justice and received his Juris Doctorate, cum laude, from the
University of Detroit School of Law in 1978.
He is active in the Detroit Jewish community having served as a Board member of
numerous local Jewish organizations. Wallach was elected as one of the youngest
presidents in history of the Jewish Community Council in 1997. He also received
the Jewish Welfare Federation’s Agency Leadership Award in 1988. He currently
serves as the secretary of the Farmington, Michigan Board of Education.
Wallach is a member of the Michigan Bar Association, Michigan Attorney
Discipline Board and the Michigan Trial Lawyer’s Association.
