Named to Resource Center of the Americas Board of Directors
Minneapolis, MN (February 8, 2006)—Kyle Mansfield, founding partner and managing
partner of Foley & Mansfield has been named to the board of directors for the
Resource Center of the Americas. Based in Minneapolis, the Resource Center of
the Americas informs, educates and organizes to promote human rights, democratic
participation, economic justice and cross-cultural understanding in the context
of globalization in the Americas. Programs combine news coverage with activities
and classes to provide the public with an alternative source of information and
empowers individuals to work collectively to create social change in the United
States and Latin America.
Mansfield
has more than 20 years of legal experience. He focuses his practice in toxic
torts and mass tort litigation, product liability, construction law, and general
liability and civil litigation. In addition to his legal practice, Mansfield
strongly believes in meeting needs through community service and charitable
contributions. In 2003, he founded Foley & Mansfield’s Pro Bono Practice Group
and dedicated an attorney to oversee this program. He is personally very active
in this group’s efforts and is a member of the Defense Research Institute, the
Minnesota Defense Lawyers Association, and the Association of Trial Lawyers of
America.
