Scott Holmes Named Co-Chair for the Young Lawyers Section of
the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel

MI (November 28, 2005) - The national litigation firm
of Foley & Mansfield is pleased to announce that Detroit-based Attorney Scott
Holmes has accepted the position of co-chair for the Young Lawyers Section of
the Michigan Defense Trial Counsel. Beginning in September 2005 Holmes and
co-chair Timothy Diemer of John P. Jacobs, P.C., took over responsibilities for
the activities and direction of the Young lawyers Section. Their focus will be
on educating young attorneys about the issues and concerns facing the civil
defense bar.
Holmes
practices in the areas of commercial practice and litigation, construction law,
general liability and civil litigation, intellectual property, and toxic torts
and mass litigation. Prior to joining Foley & Mansfield, Holmes served as a Law
Clerk for the Honorable Thomas L. Ludington of the 42nd Circuit Court in
Midland, Michigan. He is a graduate of Indiana University School of Law is a
member of the American Bar Association, State Bar of Michigan and the Michigan
Defense Trial Counsel.
